The T-SPOT.TB test

The T-SPOT.TB test has demonstrated sensitivity and specificity exceeding 95% and reliability in all patient groups, including the immunosuppressed¹, and it does not cross-react with the bacille Calmette-Guerin (BCG) vaccine.

NICE Tuberculosis Guideline (NG 33, 2016, updated September 2019)
The National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines give clear recommendations for the use of Interferon Gamma Release Assays (IGRAs) for the detection of tuberculosis in a number of important patient groups.
